The girls gather in the morning to attend the SALT Academy home for players who do not have family who can look after them, or have been rescued by SALT from human trafficking and given help, support and new motivation through involvement with their Woman's Football Programme, the first in Cambodia.

The American and Cambodian girls discuss the hope given to girls around the world through football and how football can be the catalyst for positive change. Sam, who founded SALT Academy, and Steve lead the workshop looking at girls around the world who have been given a new beginning though various football projects. Two girls from SALT will be guests at the Woman's World Cup in Germany.
Part of the project involves English education allowing the SALT girls to have the language to connect with other girls around the world such as the Woman's team from Concordia College. The visit helped "empower" the Cambodian girls and they girls quickly formed strong relationships with each other.
